Bridge is an independent AI lab in Groningen, the Netherlands. We develop AI tools that take over work, research what it can do and how it makes work more efficient, and ask what that means for people.
Mission
We develop AI tools that take over tasks and make work more efficient. We research what AI can do, and ask with the same care what that means for people and the meaning they find in their work.
AI can already take over a large part of everyday work, and make the rest faster. We develop that technology and measure what it changes. Because it also changes jobs, industries and the reasons people get up in the morning, we put the human questions right next to it: what is left for people to do, and where do we find meaning?
What we do
Development. We build AI tools and agents that do real work. Bridge Suite, a complete creative suite free for everyone, is the first result.
Research. We test what AI can take over in practice, task by task, and measure how much more efficient the work becomes.
Meaning. We ask what happens to people when machines do the work, in essays, field notes and conversations with people whose work is changing.
Where we stand
This technology can be used for good and for harm. That is not a reason to panic, but it is a reason to think. Bridge is not here to sell AI, and not here to stop it. It is a place to look honestly at both sides, with each other, not against each other.
History
Bridge was founded in 2026 by designer Thom Easix in Groningen. It started as a personal shortcut: a way to build the tools that were missing, instead of waiting for software that almost did the job. It grew into Bridge Suite, and into a question about what this means for everyone else.
